Three Days – Three Quotes

February 18, 2016 by tahenryauthoress

Yes, I know, it’s Thursday, I don’t usually post on Thursday. But if you’ve been paying attention, you’d know this is day three of the Three Days – Three Quotes Challenge. And what series of quotes on writing would be complete without a little Twain.

“The difference between the almost right word and the right word is … the difference between the lightning bug and the lightning.”
—Mark Twain

Passing the torch onto:

Allison Maruska

The rules for this challenge are as follows:

1  –  Thank the blogger that nominated you.
2 – Share one new quote on three consecutive days on your blog. They can be from anywhere, anyone, or anything.
3 – On each of the three days, nominate three more bloggers to carry on with the fun! No pressure; nominees are free to decline.

  1. Great quote! There’s a reason he’s on my list of 5 fave authors. Did you ever see photos from when I dressed as Twain? Here’s a link to my post… At the bottom of the photo grid there’s a weird blue one where the lighting was caught strangely by my friend’s cell phone and I look like Mark Twain’s ghost…teehee.
